Help with porting your mortgage

If at all possible, Brookfield relocation is encouraging military members to port their mortgage when they are posted to a different base.
If you think about it, porting makes sense. Given the fact that Brookfield will not pay breakage costs on a mortgage, this will allow you to avoid paying a penalty AND can help you avoid paying more in CMHC fees than you should.
